Merry Star Wars Christmas...

Listen,

This is the time of year that people send out those fun Christmas cards with letters telling you all about their family and their accomplishments and so forth. My parents never sent out letters like this. My guess is that their children are just so amazing and are so wonderful, that they did not want to depress other families when they found out what losers their kids were compared to us…

Anyway...

So, Christmas was a big success at our place this year. Brady nearly doubled his Star Wars Guy Collection, not really, but he got lots of fun new Star Wars toys, including some Star Wars Lego ships that I got to put together. It was really fun to see him “get it” this year. We had a blast playing with all his new guys and flying around his new ships. Hana got me some fun stuff too including a new Wii game “Super Smash Brothers Brawl,” a Star Wars Character Guide book, and some Star Wars Novels that I have wanted to read. It was a very Star Wars Christmas this year. Hana got a new camera that she is thrilled with and Evan got some fun toys too. Speaking of Evan, he pooped three times in like a 10 minute span while my parents were over visiting to see our Christmas haul. There’s nothing like a good bowel movement (or movements) for Christmas. It was very satisfying to spend our first Christmas in our new house. At bedtime we all were sitting in Brady’s room (even the cats) and it was pretty overwhelming to see everyone healthy and happy. We are “seriously so blessed.”

Enough with the sappy stuff… Here are my top 10 events of this past year in no particular order…
1. Evan was born
2. We bought a house
3. Changing jobs and no longer hating my job
4. Wii got a Wii
5. Brady getting into Star Wars
6. Going to Southern California with my family and taking Brady to Disneyland and a Dodger baseball game
7. We got our kitties
8. Watching the Summer Olympics
9. Brady getting potty trained
10. Yesterday… all day

We have so many blessings in our lives. It is so good to be grateful and see how truly blessed we are, most of all to have each other. Thank you for saying it like you do, Bob.

Hey Bob! Thanks for the comment. It's fun to find other friends blogging. Where's this new house? We're a little slow on the updates. That's why we're the Krazy Kestens, cuz we're always running around krazy. Tell your wife hi, and we'd love to meet your newest member of the family. No, not the kittens, Evan.

let's all get together soon at Kristin and Steve's place, all the Weber State groupies want to hang out and there is absolutely no reason why we all can't crash at their house?
