Cherries anyone...

Listen,
So we have a cherry tree in our backyard. Due to the lack of frost this spring we have a load of cherries on the tree...

Only problem is we didn't spray them and they all have worms in them... I opened up 10 cherries and all 10 had worms... I rinsed the worm out of one of them and ate it anyway. It was very very tasty.

That sucks

That does suck, because cherries are good and worms are gross. In my mind worms are grosser than cherries are good, so good luck getting rid of them.

The birds will come get them won't they?

We used to go to my mom's uncle's and pick cherries; it was so fun! Well, it was fun for a little kid. We were just talking about it and she was telling me that one year we picked all these beautiful cherries and she went home and bottled them, right? And when she was all finished with a million bottles of cherries, she noticed there were worms floating at the top of all the bottles.

So, good thing you found them early!

The birds and squirrels will eat a lot and a lot will just fall on the ground and get squished when I mow the lawn. We know they would be wormy since we didn't spray them. It was really rainy the week that it needed to happen, so it didn't get done.

That...was...disgusting! I just can't stand the thought of a worm on anything I put in my mouth.
Sorry you're missing out on the cherries. Spray for next year!

Maybe Hana could bake a beautiful American Cherry pie for someone you don't like. Hey, keep your eye out for cherry pies, Kristin; I don't trust this Bob fella.
